All mixing rooms at Videosonics are capable of some degree of foley recording, but
Videosonics is one of the few facility houses around to boast its own dedicated,
state-of-the-art foley studio.
Located in a separate building in London's leafy Lisson Grove, this large studio has been purpose-designed in conjunction with both our foley recordists and several top foley artists, in order to provide the best working environment in which to perform this fascinating process. A separate control room overlooks the huge foley recording area. This recording area has been acoustically-treated to provide differing acoustic environments, from 'live' to 'dead.' It is equipped with several pits for different walking surfaces, a collection of doors (ranging from wooden front doors to cupboard doors and even several car doors!), running water and a myriad of objects for creating just about every sound conceivable (and many that aren't!) Videosonics enjoys an excellent working relationship with most of the top foley artists currently working in the UK today, and will provide them for your foley session should you require.
